GUCCI: Equestrian Collection

Gucci presents the new Equestrian Collection, a contemporary tribute to the equestrian tradition and riding heritage that inspired the House for over 90 years.

True to her enduring passion for the equestrian world, Creative Director Frida Giannini has designed a complete capsule collection for women, evolving from the exclusive wardrobe she created for Edwina Alexander, the world's current number one female horse-jumper, who is sponsored by Gucci.

The line will be part of the Cruise 2013 collection which includes a ready-to-wear assortment featuring 15 styles, completed by a refined and well-coordinated selection of accessories. The collection will be characterized by the distinctive symbols of the House: the Gucci Crest, the horse bit and the green-red-green web stripe.

The clothing line will be composed of riding jackets, pants, shirts, and polo tees in comfortable fabrics. The color palette features natural and classic tones like black, beige, skye blue, and pure white.

The complete the collection a line of accessories was included like: riding boots, leather saddle, black velvet riding cap, riding whip, a saddle blanket, horse blanket, black leather belt, black nappa gloves, and a silk foulard.
