Spring Makeup Trends: By Georgina Graham

Uk makeup artist Georgina Graham gives us some makeup tips and trends to look beautiful this Spring 2012. "This Spring the look is about flawless, natural matt skin, with highlighted elements and vibrant pop of color". She recommends using one element of color in your face, either in  your eyes, cheeks or lips. If you are wearing color in your lips she recommends coloring your eyes with the following:

Green eyes - purple eye pencil
Blue eyes - oranges and aubergines
Brown eyes - any color

SKIN:

For your skin use a matt foundation instead of using powder. This will make your skin look flawless and natural. To make your skin luminous and bright add some moisturizer to your face.

Moisturizers: MAC Lustre Drops, Benefits Watt's Up.

Foundation: Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm, Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Foundation, YSL Top Secret Flash Radiance Skin Care Brush, Chanel Eclat Lumiere Highlighter Face Pen.

LIPS:
Before you put color in your lips Georgina recommends exfoliating your lips with a toothbrush and then to moisture with a lip balm. She says a good color for this season is Magenta because it suits all skin tones, and makes your teeth look whiter. Blue-based reds and pinks will look good in most skin tones. Oranges and reds are harder to wear.

Lip pencils: MAC lip pencil in Magenta, MAC lip color in Girl About Town.Lip Balm: Jurlique Love Balm.

EYES:
For your eye brows this season leave them with a natural look and masculine shape. To achieve this look Georgina suggests to throw your tweezers to let your eye brows grow, and to comb your brows straight-up. If they are sparse fill in with a brow pencil.

Creams: Creme de la Mer The Eye Balm Intense. Mascara: Lancome Hypnose Doll Eye Mascara in Black. Brow Pencil: Laura Mercier Brow Definer.

Start practicing and applying Georgina Graham's tips to get Spring's 2012 catwalk look. ENJOY!

ART: Icons as Hipsters

Fabian Ciraolo a famous Chilean illustrator turned historical icons into hipsters, the transformation is really impressive. Characters seem to have more attitude and a punk, rocker style which I love.

The best look goes to Frida she has a cropped Daft Punk tee, colored denim and a vintage necklace combined with a cross cord necklace. She looks like the typical bad girl, with tattoos and a cigar to her side.

PARIS: Marc Jacobs + Louis Vuitton Exhibition

If you happen to be in Paris this month you can't miss the amazing exhibition of Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton in Paris museum: Les Arts Decoratif. Exhibition dates: March 9 to September 16

What to expect:
"This exhibition tells the stories of two men, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs(artistic director of LV), and will highlight their contribution to the fashion world. How did they succeed in taking the pulse of their respective periods to innovate and take an entire industry forward? How did there two personalities , each with their language, appropriate cultural phenomena and codes to write the history of contemporary fashion? An analysis rather than a retrospective, this parallel Vuitton-Jacobs comparison will provide new insight into the fashion system during its pivotal periods, beginning with its industrialization and ending with its globalization, focusing also on the its artistic professions and crafts, tehcnological advances, stylistic creations and artistic collaborations. It will also be homecoming for Louis Vuitton, who set up shop only a stone's throw from the Louvre, the home of his first great patron, Empress Eugenie. Over a century separated Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, bit both come together in the excellence of their creativity"
